CLASS OF 1983 Code Name: ACE

ACE was one of those characters that I don't think Hasbro put much thought into military accuracy. They were just trying to design some cool, futuristic(?) looking pilot to go with the Sky Striker. But in reality what you had was an Air Force pilot (who looked like an astronaut), who lived on an Army base, and flew a Navy jet.

I wanted to make an Ace that looked more like an Air Force fighter pilot. I had acquired a Convention Skydive body pretty cheap, and after looking through YoJoe at the different versions of Ace, I found that the 1992 figure is actually in a blue flight suit. Bringing my Joeverse into more of modern time, I customized an F-22 Raptor for ACE to fly.

Due to a SNAFU with the blog, some of the original pictures were lost and had to be copied from another site, which explains the smaller sizes. I've tried to enlarge and brighten the pictures from some of my original blog posts.
