CLASS OF 1982 Code Name: FLASH

"Laser Rifle Trooper," I know how interesting that sounds; but as I kid, I just found FLASH to be kind of boring. I think it was probably because the original figures weren't really designed well to hold their weapons. The Laser Gun hose always popped out of the backpack or you risked breaking his thumb to get him to hold the rifle. Also, I think I preferred the real military aspect of G.I. Joe over the sci-fi elements.

Anyway, simple paint and accessories swap to modernize the Flash! Ummm. . . I mean "Flash!"

I've been told on Facebook that the head sculpt used in this custom is actually from a Star Wars Starkiller action figure.

Due to a SNAFU with the blog, some of the original pictures were lost and had to be copied from another site, which explains the smaller sizes. I've tried to enlarge and brighten the pictures from some of my original blog posts.
