CLASS OF 1982 Code Name: G.I. JOE

Welcome to the first blog post on my  G.I. Joe Customs Fan Page - G.I. Joe Revisited! This site is dedicated to my custom G.I. Joe action figures, vehicles, playsets, and photonovels (eventually).

My Goal is to Customize (in one form or another) all of my favorite G.I. Joe and Cobra characters, primarily from 1982 to 1988.

All of my customs are based upon my own "Joeverse" which, hopefully, will be fleshed out into a Photonovel (Dio-Story) one day. My take on the G.I. Joe universe is influenced by the comics, cartoons, movies, and my own personal preferences. I've tried to create my own backstories which puts the team in a "not so distant future" timeline. You'll recognize bits and pieces from the various genres of G.I. Joe. I've also tried to be more uniform (than Hasbro was/is) in the roster of the team. So, you'll that I tried to balance the team among the Army, USMC, USAF, and Navy (sorry Coast Guard - still only one on the team, Cutter).

First on the list is the Founder of the G.I. Joe Team, the reason why they are called "Joes;" the man himself, General Joseph Colton!

I think of G.I. JOE as decorated war hero who deals more with the political aspect of the Team, from appearing before the Senate, the Pentagon, or even "the Jugglers."

Due to a SNAFU with the blog, some of the original pictures were lost and had to be copied from another site, which explains the smaller sizes. I've tried to enlarge and brighten the pictures from some of my original blog posts.
