CLASS OF 1982 Code Name: ROCK N ROLL

I really liked the ROCK N ROLL origin story in one of the comics of the Army Ranger saving his friend's life during a surfing accident. So, I added that bit into his File Card Bio. Instead of his standard M-60 (which actually the ARAH figure's gun was based more on a German MG42), I've given Rock n Roll an M134 Mini-Gun (like Jesse "the Body" Ventura's character Blaine in Predator).

I wanted Rock n Roll to be beefed up, without being super tall like the Rock-block action figure. So, I kit-bashed this custom using parts from Retaliation Roadblock and Bench Press. I thought the Marvel Thor head sculpt had perfect surfer look to it.

I've bumped Rock n Roll up to a Staff Sergeant (in the Marvel comics, the O13 all get pay-grade raises) because I see him as another potential squad leader.

Due to a SNAFU with the blog, some of the original pictures were lost and had to be copied from another site, which explains the smaller sizes. I've tried to enlarge and brighten the pictures from some of my original blog posts.
