CLASS OF 1982 Code Name: CLUTCH

CLUTCH is another one of those 1982/83 action figures I never owned. I think my uncle actually bought me a V.A.M.P. for Christmas one year, but because I sneaked a peak at it (thinking it was my cousin's gift) I got a stuffed Wickett the Ewok toy instead. Bummer! What could be cooler than a Jeep with a double-barrel .50 cal. machine gun? Definitely not an Ewok! Nuib, nuib.

Clutch is also another character that, in my Joeverse, I have listed as a Marine. In fact, Hasbro once sold Clutch as a "Mega Marine" but I don't think this was suppose to have any connection with the U.S.M.C.

I really like the original ARAH version of Clutch, so I just made a modern version of it using a Marauder's Task Force body as the basis. Gave the vest a working holster.

Due to a SNAFU with the blog, some of the original pictures were lost and had to be copied from another site, which explains the smaller sizes. I've tried to enlarge and brighten the pictures from some of my original blog posts.
